No. 63 Big Bend

175.00

A wall hanging inspired by the beauty and ruggedness of Big Bend National Park in Texas. I tried to capture my particular experience which was a very wet and rainy one through the use of color, texture and the suggestion of rain falling. The colors chosen for this series include shades of blues, greens, browns and white. Each piece is lovingly made by hand and hung from foraged branches unique to their locations that I have been collecting along the way.

Materials: A mixture of vintage, organic, and hand spun cotton fibers hung from salvaged wood.

Branch: 16" L | Weave: 10.5" L x 44" H

This weaving is one in a series of three and part of the #everythingwillbeokcollections, the journey of a girl (me!) and her cat (Brooklyn!) as they venture cross country to find themselves.
