No. 58 Terlingua Sunsets

85.00

A wall hanging inspired by the mesmerizing sunsets in Terlingua, Texas. Each day ended with a grand finale of colors bursting through the clouds in spectacular patterns as the sun set and so I tried to recreate that through the use of ombre, random pops of color, fluffy textures, and layering. The colors chosen for this series include shades of yellow, oranges, pinks, shades of blue, and white. Each piece is lovingly made by hand and hung from foraged branches unique to their locations that I have been collecting along the way.

Materials: A mixture of vintage, organic, and hand spun cotton fibers hung from salvaged wood.

Branch: 22" L | Weave: 10.5" L x 21" H

This weaving is one in a series of three and part of the #everythingwillbeokcollection, the journey of a girl (me!) and her cat (Brooklyn!) as they venture cross country to find themselves.
